I wondered the empty house as the blood leaked down my arms dripping on the clean floor under me.. My eyes were teary and glazed with sorrow as i lifted the revolver to my head... It's cold handle was now sweaty and shaky making it slip from my hands into the pool of blood on the floor... A fallen hero's suicide... was what the headlines would say..

An ex-hokage... A father... A fallen hero.. A murder...

I was in pain.. I couldn't remember a time when i wasn't... The god damned demon that i had inside me made a normal life impossible... This seemed the only way out.. I left the gun on the bloody floor and weakly stumbled over to my desk and wrote a note for my kid with a shaky hand...

Ember,

I'm sorry... You were my everything... My perfect little princess.. You always made me smile..

But sadly my sweet I can't stick around to see you and your husband start your family... Never forget that Daddy will always love his little princess and that you're beautiful and unique and everyone loves you the way you are..

Tears welled up in my eyes... As i lifted the gun

"Look Daddy!! I caught a froggy!!" My bright blue eyed baby girl dashed over to me with a rather scared looking Frog..

Hinata looked up from the pond and smiled "see daddy.. Ember caught a froggy" she gave me that smile... the smile that drove me crazy..

I chuckled "Go show Uncle sasuke, Auntie sakura and the triplets.." I messed up her hair and ember dashed over to show the uchiha family who were sitting on a blanket near the pond..

Jackal uchiha smiled and patted the froggy as his sisters Lumi and Aumi giggled.. Ember beamed and glomped jackal.. her future husband..

I looked up and sakura walked over to chat with hinata as all four children dashed off toward the playground..

I looked at Ember then in a puddle beside me... The resemblance was scary.. I wished my baby girl looked like hinata..

After a few minutes ember and jackal ran up to me and showed me the squished frog... It was dead.. Ember was crying at the loss of her new friend... I smiled "Baby girl... the froggy is in heaven now..."

Ember blinked "Heaven?"

I nodded "The froggy is gone to heaven to live with Mommy's mom and my mommy.." I said..

Ember smiled sweetly...

I held the trigger...

"Heaven..."

I trembled

"There is no place in heaven for a fallen hero..."

I let it go
