Leina quickly hit the pause button and leaned back in her chair, silently admiring Kakashi Hatake's gently slumped shoulders, his relaxed-but-still-extremely-friggin-attractive expression...

Now if only he were real. A voice spoke in her head. But he's not, so get over i-

-Shhh, Leina's inner personality soothed. That dumb arse doesn't know what she's saying.

Leina grimaced as she played the video again. She followed Kakashi's every movement, from the way he cocked up one heel to the way he adjusted his mask. She ached to pull down that mask and kiss-

What's wrong with you? Get a life!

Hun, to be honest...it scares me how obsessive you are.

Leina, fed up with herself, sighed aloud, "I-I c-can't help it."

She glanced at the clock. It was already 6:50. She brushed her black locks and thoroughly cleaned her face. Time for school.

Leina couldn't think straight the whole day. All that was on her mind was Kakashi Hatake. The name seemed permanently etched into her mind. Kakashi Hatake. Kakashi Hatake. Kakashi Hatake.

Six perfect syllables. She couldn't think of anything else.

Focus, focus! You have to do good this year, the voice told her sternly. It's already your junior year! If you fail math again, you're never going to get that job you've always wanted.

"No!" Leina wanted to say. "I don't give a shit about a job anymore!" She wanted Kakashi. She wanted him so badly. She wanted to cry.

"What's wrong with me?" Leina yanked a pile of crap from her locker and wadding it up, dumped it in a nearby trash can. Walking back to the messy locker, a flash of silver caught her eye. She whipped her head around, wildly thinking, "Kakashi? Ka-kashi?"

Stop it, Leina. Just-just stop.

Then Leina saw it. Bobbing up and down, higher than most of the students, a nest of spiky silver hair. Slanted to one direction. Beautiful, flopping hair. She gazed after it, entranced. A slender neck met a sleek frame, muscled, but just enough.

Oh..oh my.

Leina shut her locker door and tried her best to follow the familiar figure. She managed to trail behind for a couple minutes before he turned a corner and disappeared.

What are you doing? Why did you stop? the voice demanded. Follow him!

But Leina had already seen all she needed. A mask. A head band covering one eye. The one remaining eye in an upside down U smile at her. At her.

Startled seventh graders scattered as she dropped to the ground in a dead faint.
