Warrick/Grissom Dues drabble
Gil couldn't help the relieved sigh when he walked into his apartment. After a long shift full of paperwork and Ecklie, all he wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep. Quickly, he rushed through his routine, being careful to complete everything.
Gil slid into bed and the arms of his lover. Without waking strong arms brought him close and Gil snuggled in. As he slipped into dreams limbs changed and a name was breathed.
"Nicky."
Moments later green eyes turned emerald from dark emotions opened and a small release rolled down. The open soul closed and a link to reality snapped. As bright eyes dimmed Warrick wondered if he would wake up this time and if he should really care anymore.
