"With all the courage I had, every piece of strength I had left, and all of my heart used, nothing was gained. He won't come back. Not even if I force him, he won't budge. If I could only know what he's thinking. I really do want to know, but it doesn't look as if he's going to tell me. Sasuke…please let me know what you're thinking. I don't want to be alone…"
The stormy sky made all the streets turn gray. There seemed as if there was no life, well…only in his eyes. Naruto walked up them about every day to find that it wouldn't ever be the same for him. Ever since he lost Sasuke, he didn't know anything anymore. But he didn't want to feel like that. He knew that he could be strong without him and just leave it all be. But somewhere, his heart hurt, badly.
Everyone seemed normal though, all except for Sakura. She felt the same way he did; they were both close towards Sasuke. A best friend and a crush, all gone for a life time. They didn't know anything. Naruto began to look around at the people passing by. All of them were happy since they didn't have to worry about anything. Everything was peaceful for now.
He gave out a small sigh and continued walking. He was walking towards the regular training grounds, where they all used to go, because Sakura wished to see him. It wasn't normal for her to actually want to talk to him, but he was accepting it in total happiness. It wasn't every day he had a chance like this. He started walking a little faster, getting a happy kind of feeling in his stomach. He knew something was going to happen off great.
As he walked through the gates, Sakura already came walking up towards him. "Hey, Naruto! You made it," she said with a happy bounce in her voice, "I need to talk to you about something really important." Naruto tilted his head and scratched the back of his head, "Uhm, alright Sakura-chan." She smiled slightly. The both of them walked together, Naruto becoming nervous. What did she want? Was she going to hit him? What was she going to do?
He shivered and slightly gulped, stretching towards a terrified emotion. But he kept his cool and continued strolling. Once they were there, Sakura came in front of him and stopped him from walking. He blushed until his face turned red. Sakura got a serious look and put her hands on Naruto's shoulders. "Naruto…we've got to try looking for Sasuke again," she said quietly, making sure no one but him heard. His redness then toned down as he stared, "But Sakura, he won't come back with us…"
She groaned and looked away, hitting her head a little bit as well. "Naruto…you're so stupid…! We're going to make him come back. I've had enough of this solitary state and I won't stand for it anymore. Me and you are going to get him back, no matter what he thinks," she said. Naruto was led off in a different direction. All he could think was, 'Just me and Sakura…~' He chuckled a little and sighed out of pleasure.
"You in Naruto?" she asked, wanting assurance. "Of course! Me and you! Off to go save Sasuke," he said with a smile, turning around with his lips curling. She sighed and pulled up her bag that she already had packed and ready, "Alright Naruto, let's go. I've already got your stuff packed, so let's get a move on." Naruto blinked a couple of times, becoming slightly confused, "Wait…you went inside my house…?" She ignored his question and grabbed his arm, tugging on him and pulling him outside the gates of Konohagure, "C'mon Naruto!"
