"Mommy, daddy, why is today so special?"
The white-haired hanyou spoke up. "It's the day your mother returned."
"That sounds like a nice story! Can you tell us about it obaa-san?"
The raven-haired woman smiled and laughed.
"I think I should tell you that, honey. Your father doesn't really know the details. It all began four years ago…"
~FLASHBACK~
"Sniff…Kagome's scent? Could it really…be her" Inuyasha thought and started running towards it.
He reached the bone-eater's well.
Then suddenly, a burst of blue light appeared and out came a raven-haired girl.
"Did you miss me Inuyasha?"
Only one word escaped his lips.
"Kagome."
2 YEARS LATER…
"Relax Inuyasha, everything will be fine." Miroku said, knowing it was a vain attempt.
Inuyasha stopped pacing outside Kaede's hut. "How can I relax when my wife is giving birth in there?!" he panicked.
Just then, Kaede opened the curtain.
"You can come inside now, Inuyasha."
Inuyasha gently stepped inside. Kagome was there, with two little bundles of joy.
She smiled at him.
"What should we name them? There's a boy and a girl."
Inuyasha thought for a while and replied, "The girl's name will be Yakumo and the boy's will be Daisuke."
"Deal!"
~END FLASHBACK~
"That's too sappy!" Daisuke said, making a face.
"I think it's beautiful," whispered Yakumo, with stars in her eyes.
Kagome smiled and leaned against Inuyasha.
"Our family is perfect."
