That Idiot
Disclaimer- This isn't, wasn't, and will never be mine. And the dialogue is not mine either, the thoughts are, though.
It's set in episode seventeen. You know, that episode with Femio? I apologize if I stinks beyond belief, my first attempt at Princess Tutu writing was crummy, too, so I didn't post it. It's supposed to be short. Anyway, enjoy!
"Hey, it's Duck, Zura!" Uzura yelled happily as Fakir sucked down a gasp.
He was annoyed with how much it bothered him to hear that Duck was in love with Femio.
As soon as Fakir saw Duck's face though, he lost his patience.
"Did something happen?" he asked.
"Well, no," Duck answered in her cheerful, weird way. "I feel kinda like something happened and kinda like it didn't."
'What the heck? What did that mean?'
"How descriptive," he said annoyed, causing a round of giggles from the strange girl. What was with her? She's acting so strange. Could it be that the rumor Uzura had told him was true?
Duck ended her laughing in a more serious manner. "Say, Fakir…" she said.
"Yeah, what?" he answered, patience now completely gone.
Fakir was already flustered enough with Duck before she mimed the sign of love to him.
He could feel the reddening of his cheeks, so unlike him in every way. 'What could she mean, with that stupid sign?' It couldn't be that it was for him. Or maybe, just maybe, could it?
The thought annoyed Fakir so much that he pushed it out of his mind as he stared red-faced at the awkward girl in front of him. It was so appalling. But what other explanations were there? He was getting agitated.
"What was that for?" Fakir demanded.
"Mytho did this mime in class today," Duck explained. At the thought of Mytho, Fakir's gaze softened. 'So she wasn't miming it to me.'
"I don't know why he did it, but that was the real Mytho, wasn't it?" Duck finished. The thought gave Fakir hope. Maybe Mytho would return to his old self, somehow.
"Are you lovey-dovey with Mytho, Zura?" Uzura randomly popped in. Fakir had forgotten that she was there entirely. Oh why did she have to go messing around in everything?
"Huh?" Duck said. He guessed she didn't know how to answer, but to such an appalling question, Fakir was surprised.
"Uzura, mind your own business!" Fakir said, not really mad, just kind of strangely upset. And it was probably all that idiot's fault.
