"Kaname…" she heard him said almost as a whisper.

Kaname turned to witness him blushing.

This she found very unusual, she had been much more used to his typical blank face.

Transparent yet unreadable.

"After my mission, Will you…" he paused to take a deep breath. "Will you marry me?"

The question came as a surprise.

Sure she harbors a special feeling for him but his feeling for her, she never understood.

Tears started pouring from her eyes, tears of great emotion and joy then it started to rain.

Sousuke's face turned to worry, "Did I say something wrong?"

Kaname shook her head in reply and threw herself at him.

"Yes! I'll marry you…"

They hugged each other under the rain heedless that they might get wet. Love after all conquers all, even the rain.

She waited for him for three months.

Each day anticipating his arrival.

Awaiting the day of their wedding, then the call came.

It was Melissa, she said that they've returned and that Sousuke was there.

Kaname rushed to get dressed, she was excited that he was finally back. A taxi had been waiting for her outside, ready to bring her to the airport.

When she came, everyone was still and they were all lined up just like the time that they had defeated Gauron.

They had loose may men back then, men they found out to be traitors.

Tessa begun to approach her, "Where's Sousuke?" she asked.

Tessa pointed to a sarcophagus covered with the Japanese flag.

There and then she knew, oh how much could a sheet of cloth tell her all she needed to knew.

How it symbolizes a thousand words left to be unsaid.

Tears begun forming in her eyes then she cried. She cried mindless of all the others looking at her.

She cried all the pain and agony that was tearing her heart apart.

She cried as the heaven joined her in all her anguish just like the time it joined her in her bliss.

But even how long and hard it rained, it could never wash away the pain.

The scar will remain a scar, left to let you remember the grief of your heart.
