"But, Skye! We love each other. If we're just honest with everyone and come out I'm sure-" However Everest was cut off when Skye spoke up.
"You know they wouldn't accept us, Everest..." And with that Skye flew off back to the lookout.
"Now I need someone to breathe me back to life..." That night Jake held a crying Everest in his arms.
"Got a feeling that I'm going under But I know that I'll make it out alive If I quit calling you my lover Move on..." "Maybe I'll find the right dog for me someday..." Everest mumbled to herself the next day, as she was helping Jake gather firewood.

Everest was called to help out for a mission on week before Chase and Skye's wedding she the saw the two of them kissing, it broke her heart...
