Bella's POV
"I'm not turning you into a vampire!" Edward said fiercely, his arms crossed over his chest.
"Give me one good reason. I don't want to hear any of that 'I'll destroy your soul' crap." I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Ok Bella, fine. If you're not human, I'm going to miss a lot of things about you." Edward says. Of course he would talk about what he would miss, not what I would miss. He gave up on trying to make me feel bad for myself a long time ago. I'm just not that kind of person.
"I would miss your blush the most." He continues. "There are little things that I would really miss, though. I love it when you say to me 'I need a human moment, Edward' and then you run to the bathroom."
"One time, before you knew I was waiting for you in the other room, I saw you dancing across the cold tile in your kitchen in your bare feet. You were saying 'Cold, cold, cold, cold!' over and over again. It was adorable." He said with a smile, chuckling to himself.
"Plus, I love the look on your face when I catch you when your about to fall. You look kind of embarrassed, and you do that wonderful blush of yours. I can guarantee you that I'll never have to catch you once I turn you into a vampire."
"It may seem like a good thing that you will lose your clumsiness, but to me, it's more adorable than weird. In fact it's not weird at all. Please don't make me go through this." Edward begged, finally drawing his plead to a close.
I had to admit, that really pulled at my heart strings. But I wasn't about to show it. Times were getting difficult, so I played my ace.
"Would you rather see me blush, or watch me die?" I said.
"We've gone through this. I'll stay by your side as each year passes, as each hair turns grey. I won't leave." Edward said to me, looking deep into my eyes.
"I have no doubt that you won't, but will you be able to watch me die? You almost killed yourself when you went to the Volturi because you thought I died. How will you live if you watch me breathe my last breath? You will keep on living, and I won't." I pleaded mercilessly.
"No." Edward says, and I give up for tonight. I roll over on to my side and shut my eyes, letting sleep take me away.
