You're always there to protect me...
You're always there just as it used to be...
Through sorrow and loneliness...
Through joy and happiness...
You and me...
In those days that seemed to be endless...
My deepest gratitude for you that I can't express...
Perhaps these feelings I have for you...
Can melt that 'thing' engraved upon your self...
Wait, was that 'thing' called coldness?
You seemed to be cold...
You seemed to be silent...
Those emotions that you hold...
I almost believed that you're a person to be scared of...
But ever since you proved me your loyalty...
My heart beat once again...
Because I've finally realized...
...I love you already...
During the war, you fought for me...
Oh how I realized how much you mean to me...
That in every time you're wounded...
I'm so devastated especially when I thought that you're dead...
It made me realize that I fear...
The day when you'll leave me alone will come near...
This made me say;
"...I do love you for real..."
Too bad I haven't confessed...
These feelings that I haven't said...
If only I had been true...
I could somehow hope that you could love me, too...
My deepest regrets for myself...
My complete loneliness when you left...
Never will you return, that's what you said...
If only I had been true...
Somehow I could stop you...
So that I wouldn't be this sorrowful the way you must have been, too...
If only I'll have again another chance...
A chance where I can tell you at last...
This feeling that I kept on denying...
Too bad... my love for you is still growing...
I know that I can't keep on finding...
My love that I last saw crying...
But if ever we'll meet again...
Let me tell you this then;

And now there are too many things to do...
I have a city to lead and people to guide, too...
