Emma…

Everything was going to be alright, after all heroes always won.

Emma, Henry, and Hook were making their way to find Regina. Emma was a little unsure about Hook and how his new personality would affect their mission, none the less she was happy to have him along.

It all happened when she was giving him a quick lesson in sword fighting.

When her parents who were sadly put in this story as villains showed up to take Henry and stop their plan to foil Robin Hood's wedding with Regina.

That's when Hook a former sword's man expert took up a fight with her father.

Sure, she had told him that the skill was deep within him and at first when he disarmed her father all seemed to be going well.

She and Henry had found a safe point behind the duel and were now watching.

However Hook turned his back on the disarmed James and pointed his blade on Snow White.

At first all seemed well until James pulled out a dagger from his person and stabbed Hook in the back, ending him.

"NO!" Shouted Emma feeling a sharp pain in her chest, as if she herself had been stabbed. The only thing holding her back being Henry's tugs to keep her from running to him, running to the man she loved.

She looked at him… her eyes were burning, she wanted to go to him she wanted to take him with them and somehow cure him because there was no way that he could be dead!

She was holding back sobs as she tried to loosen the grip that Henry had on her.

No! NO! NO! She shouted in her head. This was too much for her! This can't be happening again! Hook told her he was a survivor so he daren't die before…before…before she could tell him that she loved him.

"Mom! We have to go!" insisted Henry unable to match the strength of her mother.

Not without him! She thought

Suddenly she thought of the sacrifice that he had just made for them when she saw a ball of fire heading toward them.

Realizing that they had a mission to complete she gave him one last long look, practically feeling her chest fall apart on the inside.

It hurt so much, the pain was a lot but like hell she was going to let this author get away with destroying their lives. No, she was determined now more than ever.

With tears drying on her cheeks she ran faster and faster.
