Have you ever wondered what it'd be like to meet your favorite characters in shows? Games? Movies?

Yeah! Yeah, me too! It's like the best thing ever. Like starting a whole new life! Wanting to chill and party with them all the time. Meeting your fictional crush, having it feel extremely awkward at first, but it gets easier. That is, if they like you back anyway. Heh.

It's pretty much the same with other characters too though, of course. Becoming friends with them is the ultimate fantasy come true, isn't it?

See, I'm kinda different...
Something happened to me. But before we go into detail about that... I'm 16 years old, my name is Kayla Kohler and I have a big brother named Zed. He's 2 years older than me and SUPER smart. I mean, really... really... smart. HE'S the reason for what happened to us.

I can't just tell anyone what it was like, ok? You know, I can't just outright say that I woke up and suddenly there they were!-Staring at me like I was their only hope! It all started with three game characters. They were the ones I woke up to. I had Jackie Estacado, Mario, and Joseph Oda standing there in the middle of my room. Mario was very confused about how everything looked and the other two started talking to each other about being there. Jackie is a mob boss's son on 'The Darkness', Mario... Hell, everyone knows about him... And Joseph Oda is from 'The Evil Within'. Not only was I completely freaked out, I also blushed furiously when I saw him.

How did this all happen...?

My brother is really tech smart. I was having computer troubles. It wouldn't play anything I put in it. It's true, my computer is really old. I like old stuff...

He took my computer apart in there, added some things (at least, that's what he explained to me), took other things out and then rebuilt it. It took him all weekend to do everything. I kept all the pieces a little piled up in the corner of my room. After he was finished rebuilding it, he put a game in and the computer started behaving weird. It had a strange static screen. He took the disc out, and the screen was normal again. Then he put another in. Same thing happened. He told me he did this three times. Nothing was working the way he wanted it, so he said. And he promised me he would buy another computer for me. I was a little mad at him for that, but I was happy that he helped me anyway...

The next morning, he woke up to hearing me freaking out because I was seeing game dudes in my room! I heard a few sparks and zapping noises and opened my eyes to find those guys acting like they were all doing something different. Mario was in mid-jump, Jackie was raising his hand like holding a gun and Joseph had his hands over his head as if he were holding an axe about to come down on someone. I knew these moves because I play their games! Then they stopped what they were doing and looked at each other. They started asking lots of questions, but Mario couldn't get over his own appearance and how nothing was made of pixels. I started saying "oh my god, OH MY GOD!" and I called Zed.

When he came in, you should have seen the look on his face. He froze up completely!

It was nerve-wracking having to hide them from our parents. Thank goodness they were about to leave for work. Zed was going to take me to school, but I stayed home that day. We had to take care of Joseph, Jackie and that overly-excited Mario...
