Reveal prologue
It was a bright morning today. But, in the midst of this, a young lady couldn't help but feel down as she goes to school. She has nothing against the school, really. Yet, she couldn't help but feel that somehow, even if there is a small chance, there is a barrier keeping her away from them.
Her friends.
As if, even if they were so close, she couldn't help but seem to see them further away. Like she was in another part of the world. Yet, they stuck on her.
Her friends, they were so popular. It's not that she wanted attention, it's that… sigh.
Her friends, were all so popular. So popular that the whole student body even dubbed them "princesses" and "princes". And all they could call her was "ugly".
She sighed. What good could she gain if she ever was to get attention? And yet, she couldn't help but feel guilty. She had all known them for years… and yet, she couldn't find the courage to tell them. She was a coward.
'should I tell them now?' she was lost in her thoughts that she didn't know she stopped walking.
-reveal-
Jellal suddenly stopped as he saw Lucy did. He looked at her and knew that she was thinking something deeply.
'But what is it?' he thought as he looked at Lucy sadly. Just then, it seems all of them stopped walking.
"Jellal what are you-" they looked back and saw that he was looking at Lucy, who seems not to get the idea since she was thinking too deeply. They couldn't help but worry.
Suddenly, Lucy blinked, seemingly out of her thoughts. The first thing she saw was the concerned looks she was getting by her friends. She adjusted her glasses as she smiled at them.
"Um, I'm sorry, guys." She said as she bowed to them. All of them blinked before smiling at her.
"No, Lucy, it's okay. Come on, let's go." Erza said.
"Un." And they all went.
Inside the building…
Lucy and Jellal were walking further back than the group. Jellal was always taking quick glances over her. She sighed before confronting her.
"If you have to tell something, tell me already, Jellal. You know I hate that." Lucy said. Jellal sighed.
"Sorry. But, are you really sure about your decision? I know you were feeling guilty a while ago." She pinched the bridge of his nose. She looked at Jellal and nodded.
"But I'm not really sure. Maybe, someday…" she looked a little distant. Jellal sighed as he patted her head.
"It's okay. Take your time. I know you could tell them soon." she stopped as she looked at Jellal moving forward. A small smile grazed her lips.
'Yeah. Someday… I know I can tell them.'
-end of prologue-
