A/N: I wrote this based off what I was thinking about... if you ask I might tell you the story behind this poem
Sunlit Evergreens
I watch as the sun sets behind the forest of evergreens
Sunlight glinting off the small blade clutched tightly in my hands
I stand motionless in a forest clearing
My scared skin exposed to the winding wind
I have taken more than I can endure
This feeling of being so weak... so helpless
I cannot take it anymore
Since I can never be free in life
I shall be free in death
For if I do not do it myself
I know you will kill me in the end
So here I choose to die my way
I lift the blade and rest it's point against my flesh above my heart
I gaze at the last rays of light filtering between the trees
And I smile one last time as I plunge the blade into my chest
My body is never found
You will never know what happened to me
And that's the way I wanted it
