. He separated from the rest of the hunting party, knowing a faster route to capture the fast little creature. With such a beautiful white coat the rabbit stood out brightly in the green summer forests. Running he dodged trees, inching closer and closer to it's pristine fur, so close he could feel the heat coming off the rabbit. Just a couple more centimeters and it would be in his grasp, leaning forward a bit more and it would be his- if the ground underneath him didn't disappear.
He was falling, so fast light vanished behind him going down the seemingly endless pit. It was as if the earth itself was swallowing him whole until there was little white dots coming into view. Stars and clocks surrounded him and then the little white rabbit appeared again. Only he was more of a little boy with the ears and tail of a rabbit. He landed gracefully on a four-pointed star while the Swede grabbed his foot and hung on for his life.
"Gah! Please don't hurt me sir! I'm so very late and can't make my appointment if I'm dead!" He just about cried, shaking and trying to get the hunter off of him.
"Wh're are we?"
"In the sky! Now will you let go?"
"But we fell down a hole."
"And? Your point is?"
"How do I get back?"
"I don't know! Get off me please! I must get back to the castle soon or else the King will beat me!"
The little bunny boy started thrashing his feet around in attempt to get the scary stranger off. But it only caused Berwald to hold on tighter and try to climb up on the star. He was able to pull himself up onto one of the points and get a better look around wherever he was.
Finally free the boy jumped off the star, scaring Berwald.
"Syonara Scary!" He yelled was he hopped from one star to the next until he was nothing but a dot. But there was something Berwald was surprised he didn't notice before- a planet. It was bright and had one large continent with luscious green forests and a giant waterfall that appeared to cascade off the globe, flowing into space though the water just kinda seemed to disappear. The water looked incredible; a healthy shade of blue and green, showing so much life. He was so lost looking at the planet that he didn't notice the large ship barreling his way.
"Person A-HOY!" A voice billowed, extending a scope in the hunter's direction.
"Throw him some rope!" He heard another voice shout.
A large, thick braided rope was launched to him and he gripped it tight as he felt it strain and pull him to the ship. It may have been a bad idea, but it's better then being alone out in space. He regarded the ship while he was being brought up and noticed it's large size. The wood was of fine timber and craftsmanship with some beautiful cravings bordering the top. In the front of the boat, on the bow, there was a mermaid statue. It was hard to look away from all the detail in her hair and face, in the end though she looked sad. She was no longer in view now since he was on deck and looking at a big crowd of pirates, all staring back at him, waiting for the first move.
He was going to say something when a voice boomed from above.
"Where are you from strange one?"
Berwald looked up and saw a man jump down from a sail. He had a mop of blonde hair and sported a eye-patch and several earrings in his ears. A hat with fluffy feathers was tipped to the side on his head and a thick coat on his shoulders. Heavily jeweled rings graced his fingers on one hand the the other wasn't in sight but the brightest thing on him would have to be his emerald green eye.
"S-Sw'den. Where 're you from?"
The man looked at him like he was dumb and gave a snarky laugh. His other arm shot out to the side, revealing a shiny golden hook, and he pointed to the planet they were slowly sailing to.
"Everland of course."
