"Sadomi! You've gotten better."
"I could say the same to you, but I'd be lying"
"You arrogant Bitch"
The sounds of swords clashing rang throughout the holy cathedral. This was it. Only one battle until Sadomi could finally challenge inferno for soul caliber, the ultimate sword. Sadomi picked up her elemental blade, Silvrsoul, and Stood at the ready. Talim was ready with her Crescent moon tonfas. It was a fierce and heartfelt rivalry. Sadomi made the first move; she chucked her sword in a spear like fashion as it glowed violet. Talim Dodged the initial throw easily, but did not expect the slash from behind. Sadomi had instantly appeared behind her and left Talim with no time to recover from the initial dodge. Talim flew backwards, bleeding from above her hip. The gash wasn't a serious wound, but it would impede her movement. She tried a counter attack, only to be parried by Silvrsoul, which had turned back to being a light gray color.
"Faster than I thought….ugh…" Talim groaned out.
"I'm not fast. you're just too slow with the shade of time, Violet." Sadomi grew a smirk on her face, and pushed off of Talim. They were both drew back at the ready. Silvrsoul started to flood with dark red, almost the color of blood.
"Try and dodge this!" Sadomi made a beeline sprint for Talim, which was too fast for her reflexes to take over and block. Sadomi's heartbeat stood steady on the first touch of contact, and went faster with every hit. Each heartbeat representing a single swipe or strike, the rhythmic and increasing pattern confusing Talim and leaving her unable to defend herself from Sadomi's attacks. Sadomi's face was covered in Talims blood, which had stained the floor of the cathedral. After a few more hits and Talim was kicked back into the altar, blood seeping through her clothing and her upper chest, below the neck. She slowly managed to sit up, but she knew she didn't have too much time left until she was another soul to feed into Silvrsoul.
"Sadomi…" Talim started hacking up blood. "You…you can't do t-this… I'm your blood, your sister…we…we w-were once… friends…" Talim tried to stand up under her own power, but couldn't do it. She fell back to her arm and grunted out the pain. Silvrsoul turned a mixed combination of pink and pitch black. Sadomi looked hesitant as she raised her sword, stood over her sister, and watched as she signed her contract with the devil. Silvrsoul was colored pitch black, the same color Sadomi's heart turned into. She laid on final kiss on her sisters lips, and prayed for her safety in heaven.
Silvrsoul now has enough souls to bring Sadomi to the barren wasteland that she would have to go to fight Inferno, and get soul caliber. Whatever the cost, she was now one of the few who have lost everything for gaining the ultimate piece of metal in existence, which would drive children to massacre their families, turn nuns into smut peddlers, and turn Sisters, the best of friends, against each other. Sadomi's journey is almost at an end. She only needs to heal and prepare herself for what lies ahead. Will she prevail with her body intact, or will she join her soul in Soul Edges Eye, where all evil caused by these swords is concentrated then cast down into hell.
