They always came out to the woods, like stupid kids would. A boy, his name was Peter, Jay had to hear it every time the pretty blonde protested when he tried to feel her up. The blondes name, Emma. Jay heard it every time the stupid pathetic little boy tried forcing her to do things she didn't want to do. Pretty little Emma, a human girl. She was beautiful in a way where she glowed from the tan on her skin in the moonlight.
Her innocence almost made Jay sick to his stomach.
What was he doing in a forest you'd ask? Well, he belonged here, like most monsters did.. far away from society. He was a vampire.
His gold eyes scanned the 'couple' as he stayed in the shadows, watching them. The two sat together by the boy's car, sitting on a blanket 'watch the stars', any girl with a brain should know a guy doesn't care for anything like that.
"It's our first anniversary." the boy said to Emma. Emma smiled softly as they both sat against a tree, he leaned over and kissed her then slipped his fingers through hers.
Emma declared, "It's been one month Peter. Don't people celebrate when it's been one year?" she teased.
Jay watched her closer. She looked so naive.. she was putting herself in this position, alone in the woods with a boy who already couldn't take the hint to back off.
"But your special to me. A month is more than I thought i'd get with you." Peter whispered, pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear as she eyed his hand weirdly and backed up a little.
He was getting too close for comfort
"Your sweet." she told Peter and looked up at the moon. It was getting late. Maybe she should start getting home.. There's been noises in the woods a lot, and she was beginning to think, and know, something else was with them.
Peter wasn't as sharp. "You're beautiful." he started kissing around her neck and Emma shifted uncomfortably.
"Peter..." she went to protest and stand but he grabbed her hand. Emma gasped when he tried to lie her back, sucking on her neck but Emma didn't know he was trying to form a hickey or commit murder. "Peter! OW!" she tried to shove him off, "Stop!"
"Sorry. Just let me-" she cut him off when he tried to hold her down and from getting up, "Emma! Just relax!" he pinned his body down on hears
"Peter please, get off me!" still, nothing. "No, Peter!" she yelled and tried scratching at his face, "Stop!" he grabbed her hands.
Jay went to turn and walk back home, this wasn't his business, he didn't know either of them. What'd it matter to him? He knew it was going to happen before it even did.. the girl shouldn't of been so dumb. He paused, and then growled, rolling his eyes.
"Stop!" spat Peter, soothing his hand up her skirt. "You've been a tease far too long-"
Peter went to pull her skirt down until he cried out in pain himself, his arm was bent back suddenly and his wrist felt broken. He looked up to what held his arm and his eyes widened in horror when he saw the guys eyes were pure black that stood above him.
The thing had fangs, and he was tall, lean. Someone Peter didn't think he'd want to get in a fight with.
Peter cringed some more until he was thrown off of Emma who was in a panic herself and crawled back away from both guys. Did she seriously see fangs?!
Peter rolled around on the ground holding his hand and cried out in pain. Jay walked over to him slowly.
"No!" Peter yelled, "I'm sorry! I-I'm leaving!" he shuddered as Jay stopped in front of him, doing nothing but glaring down at him murderously. He had no idea what to do. Would the guy kill him if he moved? It was that or run, what other choice did he have?
Peter sniffed and choked on a cry before he got up. He ran for hell to his car, started it and raced out of the woods, leaving Emma behind.
Jay heard leaves being crunched and turned. Oh right, the girl.
Emma was already standing up with help by a tree beside her and eyeing him, her eyes shimmering with tears but trying to stay strong, and brave..
Jay squinted his eyes as he eyed her back. Why wasn't she running away too?
"What are you?" she asked. He was attractive, really attractive but she wasn't trying to look at his outer looks.
It was hard not to when he looked the way he did, wearing a black sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up,that out lined his lean arms. He wore jeans, and his skin was milk white. His hair was brown, short, and gelled just the tiniest bit to give it the 'I don't care what it looks like but it just ended up looking good' messy style. He had a barely noticable clean shaven beard. Had to be in his twenties.
He could of been any normal looking guy if he wasn't just 'strooling' in the woods, and seemingly dangerous by the vibe he was giving off. He continued narrowing his eyes like Emma. She wasn't sure if she was prey or he was just wondering about her too.
"What are you?" he taunts back.
Emma looked sadly down and then back at him to say, "Th-thank you." she looked the Peter ran off. She could usually handle idiots like him, but not alone in the woods nor physically.
"Don't thank me." he practically sneered, "I don't care what he was doing, I just had to do something. You guys wouldn't shut the hell up and I live nearby."
Emma went to explain, "He was-"
"I just said, I don't care what he was doing." Jay confirms, then noted to himself he knew exactly what that boy was going to do to her and since he stopped it, she should try to even forget it happened. Forget he was even here.
"You did stop it though."
"Go home." he sighed and raised an eyebrow, waiting for her to get the hint and go. She didn't move.
From a distance, a deep, long howl in the darkness sounded and Jay glanced up at the moon. Great.
"Wait... who are you?" she called after him when he went to leave. No answer. She heard something in the bushes and gasped, turning and darted her eyes around.
He was not seriously leaving her alone out here, was he!?
"You are not going to be able to fight a werewolf off with your bare hands." he taunted, but she couldn't see him and cried out when a wolf jumped out of the bushes and suddenly Jay appeared, ready to catch it before it lunged onto the girl and it was thrown so hard into the tree across from her, she barely saw it happen but saw the wolf whimper and get up.
Jay and it seemed to go nose to nose but the wolf then whimpered again and ran off, limping a bit.
Emma couldn't believe it. An actual wolf. A Human couldn't of just swung that thing so easily 10 feet away into a tree. This guy couldn't be normal either. "Are you one of them?"
"Go home." he sneered. Was HE a werewolf? God no.
He then saw a reaction he didn't think he'd get after that, anger. "Did you grow up in a barn?" she madly asked, crossing his arms.
He eyed her, squinting his eyes and couldn't believe her. He just saved her life.. twice!
"Don't you know manners?" her eyes were on fire as she glared him down.
He paused for a moment. Curing silently to himself. Jesus she could be pretty scary for a small thing.
"Don't you know not to go out at night especially into the woods with a boy you hardly know?" he taunted back viciously and stepped closer to her, his own eyes blazing.
It was like she wanted to be some werewolves desert!
Emma was a little taken back by the comment but scoffed, "He goes to my school." she had thought he was sweet, they'd been dating for a while but seemed the gossip about Peter was true. He was scum.
"That doesn't mean you're safe with some horny teenager out in the woods." snickered Jay to then turn and hollar over his shoulder, "Don't come back here."
She opened her mouth to yell back at him, but he had vanished and she looked around. What the...hell.
She then looked around, paranoid like, when she heard another howl. Okay, yes! Definitely time to go. She turned and quickly got out of there.

After that weekend, Monday came, and the sun glared down on every student walking into school to Degrassi High.
Emma was late, and the school bell rang and Emma ran her hand through her long blonde hair, jogging up the stairs. She'd been so disoriented since trying to figure out what had happened this weekend.. and now she was nervous about having to bump into Peter.
She got her books and then Emma closed her locker and turned to go to class, she then stopped when she saw Peter coming down the hall with his friends.
Oh no.
She wore hip hugging blue jeans and a white thin sleeve V neck top. Emma was 16, and yes, she had filled out from the young duckling she use to be into a beautiful swan, so her chest popped a little out from her V neck shirt.
Around Peter again? Maybe she should of worn a hoody today...
But when Peter looked at her his eyes widen and he quickly turned, running off.
..Was that a cast on his wrist?...
Emma had to smile a bit, wow. That was easier than she thought. Peter and none of his stupid friends would ever bother her again. Thanks to...whoever mystery guy was. Mysterious, really unfriendly but...hot guy (who had fangs).
God, who the hell was that guy?
Emma shook her head out of it . A guy she'd never see again but will be forever sort of greatful for.
She went to class, and smiled seeing her best friend who had saved a spot for her, Manny Santos. She sat next to her and the girls couldn't be more opposite, but couldn't be more n'sync either.
Manny was the type of girl you didn't bring home to your parents. Emma was exactly the girl you wanted to bring home to your parents (And put a ring on)
But trust Emma, as wild as Manny seemed, she was a great loyal friend who was just a big romantic and looking for love in all the wrong places. (And Manny looked in a lot of places..)
They had always been known as Emma and Manny. The cutest best friends! Known another since 3rd grade, ever since Craig Mannings shared his crayons with only one of them so Manny broke it in half and shared it with Emma (much to his anger). No guy had ever come between them, even when they did become attracted to the same guys. Manny was practically Emma's sister. Her parents even loved her and Manny's parents loved that she had at least one normal friend who liked to study rather than always talk boys.

"He WHAT?!" hissed Manny, now getting ready for gym class with Emma in the locker room. She had told her everything about Peter last night.
Darcy, who was more Manny's friend then Emma's, gasped, "And you said no?!" she was on the cheersquad with Manny, and she knew Peter was one of the most popular, cutest guys in school! He normally only went after cheerleaders, but Emma was an acception since she was as hot as them yet wished to have her face in a book then shake pom poms.
..that wasn't really a bad thing to Emma.
"He forced himself on me, Darcy." Emma said with an unbelievable tone. .
Manny nodded, on Emma's side. "You know what you should do?" she bluntly declared, "kick him in the balls."
Emma giggled a bit. "I like the way you think, but it's been handled." she sighed as Mr Smirk face entered her head again.
"Wait, he showed up to school with a broken wrist today..." Darcy drifted, remembering him coming to class like that.
"Go Em!" laughed Manny.
Emma rolled her eyes as Darcy got her shoes on and walked out and Emma pulled Manny back from going out the door and whispered, "Some guy was in the woods..he kinda... saved me?"
"Ou, a dark knight." smirked Manny, crossing her arms and leaned on the wall, "Hot."
Emma shrugged and finally walked out the door to go to gym with her. "Not like I'll see him again. It was just weird is all." she didn't mention the werewolf part. Manny would think she was going crazy and as days passed, Emma thought maybe she had gone crazy too.
I mean, fangs? REAL werewolves? No way.
((*))
When it'd finally been almost a month passed the incident, Emma insisted she forget about it and the mystery guy (Mr Smirk face). It was probably all her imagination. The main part was Peter now stood far, FAR away from her.
"Please, Emma!" begs Manny, running after her taller, blonde friend, "I'm begging you!"
Emma rolled her big hazel eyes, leaning on her locker door but at least stopped before the petite brunette had a heart attack, "Manny I don't wanna go!"
"We need fun though, it's going to be one of Degrassi's biggest parties!"
"You always say that."
Manny insisted while Emma opened her locker, "You need to move on from.." she drifted off with a look of disgust, "Peter."
"I have moved on." snickered Emma and Manny giggled. She knew Emma did, it was a horrible try.
Manny raised her hands under her chin, much like a puppy dog, and her eyes were quite begging too. "Pllllleeeeeeasse."
Emma frowned, trying not to look over but sneaked a glance at her. Manny was trying so hard, she had to give her credit. The puppy dog face was cute but that wasn't fair
"Fine!" Emma finally says and rolls her eyes as Manny jumps up and down happily "Why do you want to go to the ravine so bad?" she questions.
Manny gave Emma a look, "gee, I wonder."
Emma didn't have to say it, just closed her locker and rolled her eyes smiling. Boys. Of course!
