Short Side Stories 3
If you have not read chapter 8 of Journey through Kanto do not read this yet, you have to get that far in the story first. This is the view point of Stitch and his story.
"Where's Julie? Why can't I find her? JULIE?" I kept screaming in the night at what happened a few days ago, they took Julie away from me… I'll never forgive them for that! Never! "GRRRRRR!" I growled in my sleep. I was having nightmares about the same thing over and over them taking me to the lab!
They took Julie to another room. I don't know what happened to her all I know is she was put in a room labeled Grass/Poison. I got put in a room labeled Grass. I was shoved in a tube and got smaller. The people in lab coats said it was a success but what about me? What about Julie? I escaped with cuts and bruises I even got kicked by a guard. But what about Julie?
A nice old lady took me off the streets and into her home and I thanked her. But she didn't understand me. She treated my wounds, and took care of me. I could never repay someone who did something this kind. Then a kid walked in and she gave me to him telling the kid to be careful with me. The kid named me Stitch, I can probably see why too. I watched him fight 5 trainers, beat a criminal, and some guy gave him a Charmander all in one day. This kid could be helpful to me.
We came cross an Oddish, she said she was named Julie and was looking for her boyfriend. I told her my real name. She asked me about the incident. I knew it was Julie. I answered her questions and she said "I'm so happy I could hug you!" She tried to hug me but she didn't have arms. She said that since her life changed, she now wished to be a Bellosom. I told her what I have been wishing for: Her. She cried tears of joy. Chase asked what was going on so I tried to explain it to him. But he couldn't understand me. He thought I was showing him Julie, to him Julie was just an Oddish. He didn't know it was her. He didn't even know about Julie ever. All he knew is that there was an Oddish I was pointing at. At least me and Julie are back together…
