Remember when Abigail took a blast to the past (or something like that. Season 2, I think)? And Katrina used a bell to awaken nearby witches? Yeah, me neither. I found this in my google docs and its been sitting there for a while. Enjoy, or not. Review. Flames will be considered as an attempt to commit arson, and I have an old friend at the police department. Tread carefully.

Abigail Mills wasn't lying when she said she felt bad about Katrina's betrayal…

But she'd be lying through her teeth if she said she hadn't expected it.

Katrina had never truly seemed on board with Abigail and her connection with Ichabod. She always seemed rather..

Oh, screw it. She'd never liked Abigail and the feeling was mutual, if not more.

Abigail foresaw her betrayal, but not like this.

She figured she'd just leave them alone, or work on her own to prevent the apocalypse. But no, she was corrupted, it seems, by a desire for power. Because. let's admit it, that's all it was.

Part of her was a bit excited that Katrina would now be out of the way. Ichabod wouldn't be distracted anymore.

What? You've seen it, Katrina's want to free Jeremy had Ichabod blinded to what was real. As aforementioned, Abigail didn't really care much for Katrina. She didn't care, wife, husband, monkey's uncle, Ichabod was a witness.

He, nor she, could afford to be distracted. She'd meant it when she made the promise with Ichabod, to put nothing above their partnership with each other.

And yes, it had been directed at Katrina when she'd made it, though she knew she'd have to hold up her part as well.

But enough of that now. Katrina was trying to mess up history. Abigail figured it had probably already been altered a little just by her being there.

She had to defeat Katrina. Should she have to kill her, she would do. Plain and simple.

But first , to get out of this cell.

One bit of irony wasn't missed on Abigail part's.

She focused all her energy and melted the bars of the cell.

Who knew that Katrina's bell would actually or at least could, actually aid in her defeat. And who knew Abigiail could still carry witch blood. You'd think it would be a seriously recessive gene.

In any case, she'd just found her inner witch. But she was much weaker than Katrina. She had to find some answers, or a greater power source, fast.

And she had to find Ichabod.
