Sakura always imagined in see Yelan Li again but never to participe of battles against her. Of course, it was just part of her training but she still doesn't feel too comfortable about it.
After lose control of her powers and accidentaly create Clear Cards, Sakura talked to Syaoran that she wanted to be trained. At least to learn how to control her magic, something Kero and Yue also considered.
"I was trained since I was 5 so I can teach you... But maybe my mother can give you a support too" commented Syaoran during their date in Tomoeda Aquarium (this time without any trouble involving cards). Then Syaoran started to teach her after school in Tomoyo's garden (the place is big enough to trainings and sure Tomoyo made special clothes to Sakura and Syaoran).
They spend some years of training before Sakura (now 17) finally get a short training with Yelan Li. Sakura and Tomoyo were invited by Yelan to stay in Li's house during summer vacation and in that afternoon Sakura was trying to defend herself from Yelan's attacks.
"You need more concentration, Sakura-san" Yelan warned before turn down her fan. "I think it's enough for now. I believe your control has grown considerably but be sure to continue your training with Syaoran and read the books I gave you"
Sakura smiled at Yelan and, though she was exhausted, she was grateful for the help. Yelan smiled back and said "Now I need to go. I wish I had more time but there's an important meeting that needs my presence as leader of Li Clan".
"I see... Thank you so much for everything!" Sakura bowed to Yelan before walk towards the interior of the house looking for Syaoran.
Yelan watched her thinking about when Sakura and Syaoran was just 9. Soon they will be magician adults and will be in this same place to guide their children.
