Hey everyone. This was written for the September Event: Back to School on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I used the prompt of 2. (word) lunch. I hope you all enjoy Lunch.

Crabbe will admit lunch is his favorite period of the day. Except for maybe dinner which really doesn't count as period because classes are all done for the day. He doesn't have task his brain any further than does he want pumpkin or juice or grape. He doesn't like to task his brain much so he's happy that it's always a simple choice.

"Crabbe, Goyle," Draco's voice breaks through his thoughts, "did you take notes in Binns class?"

Why does Draco even bother asking if they took notes in class he thinks as Goyle shakes his head? Crabbe can tell that he and Goyle are as dumb as rocks and there's more than likely no hope that they'll make anything of themselves besides enforcers.

"You know we never take notes in any of our classes," he tells Draco, who sags in defeat.

"You idiots are going to make the three of us fail," he chides the two of them. "Next time take notes so I can copy them." Draco turns to Blaise more than likely bumming the notes from him.

Blaise is smart. He and Goyle are not. Crabbe finds that he can't bring himself to enjoy his lunch today. Maybe Draco's right he should try to better himself but did have to put it so hurtfully.

Pretending to nod and laugh at something funny Draco said Crabbe turns his hurt internally so no one else can see.

I hope you enjoyed Lunch. This is yet another character I've actually written a point of view from. Vincent Crabbe. I think it's interesting to explore these minor character like Crabbe and Goyle. I kind of hope I did justice to him in this drabble.
