Day fourteen and it's time to make some music.

The sound of flutes and saxophones flowed through the air as a pink-haired woman hummed along to the melody. When the music stopped she couldn't help but smile in happiness.

"Another wonderful symphony," she stated as she finished up recording.

"Hey, Luka! What are you up to?" yelled a voice from behind, making Luka jump in fright.

Turning around, Luka met with a grinning Twin Tail. "M-Miku! Don't do that!"

"What? I was just saying hello."

"There are quieter ways to say hello," replied Luka in a soft tone.

"But those are no fun! Seriously though, what are you doing?" asked Miku as she tried to look behind the taller girl.

Luka gave her friend a smile. "I was just recording a new song."

"Really? Aw, why didn't you invite me to record with you?" questioned the teal-haired girl with a pout.

"W-Well, I wanted to record my own song."

"But we could make such an awesome song together!"

The older girl tilted her head in confusion. How could they make a song together when they were so different from each other?

"I'm afraid I don't understand."

Miku rolled her eyes at Luka's obliviousness. "Picture this, Luka; my futuristic melody with your sounds of the past. Imagine the possibilities that can make in the world of music!"

"I don't know, Miku…"

Luka watched as Miku fiddled with the recording equipment. She wanted to stop the pop idol before she broke something, but she didn't want to be rude to her friend.

"There! I just installed my music into your equipment, so let's take it from the top!"

As the music, which was indeed a combination of Luka and Miku's sounds, started to play, Luka had to admit that it did sound pretty.

Luka gave off a smile. "Okay then. Let's do this!"

The two VOCALOIDs started to sing together as they recorded and as they finished, Luka couldn't wait to do this again.

You know how hard it is to write for characters that technically don't have personalities because they're technically nothing but computer programs? Even the wiki has nothing on their personalities.

I also question what Sega was thinking on acquiring the VOCALOIDs. Project DIVA is full out Sega IP, it's not a licensed series. There's actual chances of seeing Miku or Luka in Sonic & Sega All-Stars games or even Super Smash Bros. if Sega were to ever get a third character in that series.
