~Christmas Eve~
The guild was having its annual Christmas Eve party, but something was missing. No someone was missing. Natsu. He would usually be fighting with gray about how frozen egg-nog pops were way better than egg-nog spiced flames and vice-versa. Natsu had begun to search for Igneel after the mission team Natsu completed. The client had some information about a fire breathing dragon.
~Flashback~
Team Natsu was walking toward the train station from their mission to catch some bandits stealing from an old lady in the town of Caelum. Natsu had been spacing out the whole way back from the client's mansion. The train ride home didn't turn any better. Usually there would be a fight between fire and ice with a sword to stop them fighting. But this time Natsu was looking out the window without even getting any motion sickness.
"Natsu, are you alright?" Lucy was very concerned as the two other mages were in another row talking about their relationship issues. (Gray and Juvia, Erza and Jellal)
"Yea Luce I'm just thinking about stuff." Natsu stiffened; did she really know that there was something wrong with him?
"Is it about what the client said about that dragon?" Lucy was now beyond worried, since when did Natsu ever think?
"Yea, I just keep thinking about it. Ill just take a nap, I think the motion is coming back to the sickness. Get it? It's supposed to be funny." Natsu was just spitting out words without thinking, ironic isn't it? How he said he was thinking?
"Alright, you can lay your head in my lap if you want to." Lucy said unconsciously but it didn't really matter since Natsu fell on her lap snoring.
~End of Flashback~
Lucy was tired; she had been waiting for her dense idiot to come back for the past 7 months. She decided to go home after her last glass of egg-nog.
She arrived at her apartment and went in, she saw a shooting star at her window where Natsu usually came in from.
" I wish that I can see Natsu this Christmas." Was her wish.
Lucy grabbed her guitar and started to sing.
