I Keep on Walking

I had no name in the beginning
I was shattered on the cause of sinning
I see them all, never winning
And so I kept on breathing

I watched the fires burn around me
I saw the bodies lain before me
I knew the chaos that ripped and tore me
And so I kept on living

I felt the dagger's edge upon me
I saw them come to beat and kill me
I fled as far as my feet would take me
And so I kept on running

I heard the gentle call sent to me
I chose a name that would become me
I saw the brilliant shadow deep within me
And so I kept on training

These evil thoughts, forced and fated
I see the destruction that I've created
What glorious ruin I might have hated
And so I keep on killing
