Poem about Sweeny's vengefulness (quite enjoyable really)

Disclaimer: I do not own Sweeney (unfortunately)

Finding Lost Bliss

Memories of you

Rage in my head

Your sweet smile

And your self-assured tread.

And then that Judge

Spotted you

And eventually

Got his hands on you.

While I was off

Living in a cell

That man raped you

And down you fell.

Poisoned yourself

Lovett says

Your beautiful face

Won't stay out of my head.

I take up my razor

With hands shaking of rage

My heart feels on fire

With all of this rage.

But your face still stays

In front of my face

And you can never

Be replaced.

So I will kill

Every man that I find

That has done you or any wrong

His fine will be high.

His life will be taken

By the blade in my hand

And made into pies

And sold at Lovett's stand.

And I will do

All of this

For you and maybe

I will find bliss.

After every foul creature

That roams this earth

Will undoubtedly

Regret their birth.

Your face wavers

In front of my face

And you, my love,

Will never be replaced.

This knife in my hand

Will pay for those years

Sitting in prison

Holding back tears,

Wondering what had

Become of you

And now I find your dead

And my hearts cut in two.

And this razor

Might give me that bliss

That had been lost

When I lost your kiss.
