Stephen walks into his room and finds Astrid standing there. "Hey Astrid," Stephen says, "What are you doing here?"
"We need to talk." Says Astrid.
"Okay..." Stephen says slowly, sitting down on his bed. Astrid sits down next to him and says, "You know that I'm in love with you and I know that you have feelings for Cara, but I-." Astrid is interrupted by Stephen's phone ringing. He answers it and says, "Hello?"
Jedikiah answers on the other line, "Stephen, it's Jedikiah. We need you to come into Ultra, we found a new breakout."
"Sure, I'll be right there." Stephen hangs up the phone and turns to Astrid. "Go ahead," Astrid says, waving a hand at him. "I know you want to help the Tomorrow People. We'll talk when you get back."
"Thanks Astrid." Stephen plants a quick kiss on her lips and begins walking away. He then turns around automatically and runs back over to her, kissing her another time for a longer period. They release and the two smile. "Get going," Astrid says, "we'll talk about this when you get back."
"Right," Stephen says, turning around. Telepathically talking to Cara, Stephen says, "Cara, Jedikiah found another breakout. I'm heading to Ultra now."
"Great," says Cara in the underground lair, "Find out who it is and we'll take care of it from there." Stephen teleports out and is in front of ALICE. Stephen walks out and walks up to Jedikiah and The Founder watching a screen.
"What are you doing here founder?" Stephen asks. The two turn to him and The Founder answers, "I've decided to stay a bit longer Stephen."
"So what do we know about the breakout?" Stephen asked, turning to the screen containing video footage from a security camera. "Not much," Answers Jedikiah, "They were wearing a mask. The way we know it's one of your kind is the fact that they used telekinesis to push a guy towards the vault."
"Where are they?" Asks Stephen, already heading for the door.
"The bank on 45th street."
"Got it." Stephen walks out of the room and teleports to the bank. He walks inside and towards the vault, which is open. He walks inside and sees a figure shifting amongst the money. "Hey, I see you." Stephen says to the figure. They turn around and Stephen sees a girl with gray eyes.
"Come with me, you're under arrest." Stephen says, thinking, Under arrest, what is this? I'm nowhere near a cop.
"I wouldn't say that, you seem like a cop to me." Says the girl, infiltrating Stephen's mind.
"Did you just-?"
"Gotta go!" The girl instant teleports out with the bags of money in her hands and Stephen teleports after her. The two land in the forest and the girl says to him, "So you're like me?"
"Got that right. Now excuse me for a second."
"What, you gonna call Cara?"
"How would you know who Cara is?" The girl flicks her hand and slams Stephen into a tree. "You wanna play rough?" Stephen uses his telekinesis to pull the girl to the ground, but instead she jumps, landing next to him. She smirks and goes to kick Stephen. He teleports and appears behind her. He swings and she blocks his hit. She sticks her hand out towards him and Stephen's heart begins racing. He starts panting and the girl pulls her hand back towards her. Stephen drops to the ground and Stephen looks back up at her.
"Tell The Founder that Cassie Smythe did this to you and tell the Tomorrow People that they'll never track me!" Cassie teleports out, leaving Stephen panting on the forest floor. Stephen says telepathically to Cara, "I just met the newest breakout and I got my ass kicked." Stephen teleports to Ultra and The Founder turns to him. "Did you get the breakout?"
"No, instead, I got my ass kicked. Cassie Smythe did this to me."
"Dammit Cassie!" The Founder cursed under his breath.
"You know Cassie?"
"Cassie's the most powerful breakout ever and my daughter." The Founder sighed.
