Chapter One
My name is Annie. My sisters, my friends, and I are, well… different. We have recently discovered one thing. We're wizards. We're all connected through a spell placed on us at birth. We can read each other's thoughts. Well, 'chosen ideas' is more like it. We only hear what we want each other to hear. Each of us has an additional power.
I can go into someone's mind. I can implant thoughts our make them do whatever I want. I really don't like doing this though, because it's invasive. Also, I can read the minds of everyone.
My twin sister, Helen is an elemental. She can bend water, air, fire, and earth to her will. She hasn't been able to practice much, since she has just recently discovered her power.
Jenny is a seer. She sometimes can see into the future. But, she doesn't understand most of it. She usually relies on us to interpret it, but usually, we can't either.
Jason is a shape-shifter. He can change his appearance whenever he wants. If he concentrates, he can even change the look of the people around him, but he gets really drained from it.
Jack can move things just with his mind. The bigger the object, the harder it is to move. It's really obvious that he misses Sophie the most. Sometimes, I can hear him crying to himself in his room. He's the main reason we haven't given up.
Kate is Jason's sister. She can create things out of thin air. People too. The things she makes can be felt. They're really there. It's amazing.
Sophie was the most powerful of us all. She had all of our powers combined. We never knew why, but we figured that's why they took her, not us.
