Regina wanted to change for Henry and that was all she knew. She didn't want to lose her son like she did her lover Daniel. The only thing standing in her way between her son and her was Emma Swan and her little gang of friends who wanted Henry with Emma. One day Regina decided that the only way to get her son was to convince him to come with her so after Henry got out of school she would take him out. But where? It seemed like just about everyone in the town was against her happy ending. She would just have to take him back to her house. The bell rang at that moment and Regina sat in her car and watched as Henry ran out of the school. She then got out of the car and yelled "Henry!" He looked back and slowly walked toward her.

"Oh hi mom… what are you doing here"

Henry asked almost hesitantly. Regina responded with

"I'm here to see you! I figured that we haven't been able to talk much and I thought that we could have an afternoon together." Regina said almost too sweetly.

Regina saw Henry get a little freaked out at that moment. He seemed hesitant to even get near Regina which confused her. She thought that she had been doing all good recently.

"But won't Emma be worried about where I am? I always go straight home after school."

"Oh, don't worry about that. I can make it quick I just need time to be with you."

"Okay… let's go."

The two of them hopped into Regina's car and started off towards her mansion. They walked in the house and straight into the living room where Regina got Henry a cup of apple cider.

"Mom, I know that you are lying to me. Why do you really want me here? You know that Emma is taking care of me now and that that is how it's going to stay."

"Honey, I just need you back here with me. I miss you being around and I just can not stand not having you come home to me everyday after school. I've been trying to redeem myself but it's becoming hard with Emma standing in my way."

Regina started to cry and leaned in to hug Henry tightly. All she wanted was him and she just wanted him to see that. It was just then that Emma Swan burst through the doors of Regina's house.

"Where is Henry!?" She demanded

None of them had any idea of just how big a war this would become.
