I woke up with a shock. I was so excited about going to Professer
Elm's house to get my first pokemon. My mom didn't know that I was going to
do that. I lived in the city. I loved the city. I was up and about when I
walked to the closet to start to get dressed. I put on my jeans, shirt,
socks, sneakers, and hat. I grabbed my book bag and left. I slowly walked
down the stairs, still sleepy. "Good Morning" I said to my mom very
sleepily, as she was buttering a piece of toast. "Good Morning" said my mom
as she stopped buttering and looked straight at me as I moved to sit at the
table. "Guess what?" I said looking up coming face to face with my mom.
"What"
"I'm going to go to Professor Elm's to get my first pokemon" I said
egerily.
"You are " said my mom sadly thinking that since I was getting my first
pokemon that I was going to leave home, which I was going to do.
"Yah, but I don't know which to pick" "Should I pick Totodile, Chikorita,
or Cyndaquil?"
"I don't know" said my mom as I dug into my oatmeal.
When I was finished I got up put the dish in the sink and I was off. I opeded the door to the garage and took out my bike. I got on it and pedeled as hard as I can. I shifted trough tress back and forth. I soon saw Professers Lab in sight I suddenly got exicted and didn't see a stone in the way and crashed into it. I fell to the ground shocked about what just happened. I slowly got up in pain. I walked slowly toward the lab. As I got closer I could see that Professer elm outside feeding Pokemon that I have never seen before. The minute I saw this I was quickly healed and got on top of my bike and pedeled slowly cause if I pedeled fast I would fall to the side of my bike. When I reached the lab I stopped right next to professer elm. "What are those" I said getting off of my bike. "Who in the world is that" said elm shockingly. "Oh it's you Chris, these are newly discovered pokemon from the Hoenn region. "What's the Hoenn region?" I asked slowly moving my hands toward a red bird looking pokemon. "It's a new region that has just been discovered. It is close to Johto but further then Kanto." Said elm as he got up and moved to a pond a few feet away. "I'm here cause I came to get my starter, if that is okay with you" I said as I moved my hand from the red bird to a weird green looking lizard. "Watch your hand with that one" said elm as he bent down by the pond and a strange blue frog fish pokemon jumped onto elms hand. He got up and walked to me. "What are the names for these three?" I asked as I got up and walked up to elm. When I got up the red bird followed me as I walked to elm. "He must like you, his name is Torchic, the green is Treeko, and this one he said pointing to the one on his hand is Mudkip" "Tell you what I'll let you choose from these three and you can take two" said elm. "I'll take Torchic and Mudkip" I said very eggerly. Professer elm called mudkip and torchic to two pokeballs. He handed them over to me and new newest pokedex. "Good luck" said prof. Elm as he turned around and walled into his lab. He was gone before I could say another word.
