AN: OKAY SO first homestuck fic, I haven't read all of it (only up until act five act two) so I don't know how it ends but I wanted to set this around that time, in the lab trolling humans. There are no ships in this because that's just how I roll (also it's a story about children sooo) it's shot from Eridan's POV but that will probably change later, but I just really like Eridan and Feferi so I thought I'd start with them, anyways, reviews are like crack to me, even just a "great fic!" Makes me smile like an idiot, anyways, long AN, let's actually read the story!
Eridan stood in the lab, trolling (but actually helping) the Jade human. Wondering where the hell Feferi was so he could show her all the cool things he was doing, maybe he could win her back! He pushed those hopeful thoughts out of his head when Sollux walked into the room wearing a concerned look on his face; looking downwards at the floor, he proclaimed not-so-proudly
"So um.. I was messing around in the ectobiology lab with the girls and erm" Eridan had a bad feeling about this, he had been friends with Sollux long enough to know that face was the one he wore when he fucked shit up, and he knew it. At this point all of the room was turned to Sollux hoping for an explanation of what exactly he did, when a hoard of young girls, no more than two alternian solar sweeps old (AN: approx. 4.4 earth years) came bursting through the door behind Sollux. It wasn't long before everybody realized it was the six girls, Nepeta, Aradia, Feferi, Vriska, Terezi, and Kanaya. Everybody started shouting (well not everybody it was just Equis and Karkat but they were VERY loud) and the room quickly descended into anarchy. Tables thrown, computers exploded, chairs kicked and it quickly overwhelmed little Nepeta as she began crying softly. Equis took note of his miniature moirail in distress and quickly shouted for the room to quite down.
"QUIET!" Everybody turned to him, who walked to Sollux with a plan, he started asking him questions. "How long will this last?"
"Ith temporary if thath what you're wondering" Sollux replied, "thould wear off in abouth fourty eight hourth" everybody silently freaked out about that, how were they supposed to care for these wrigglers? Thankfully, Equis seemed to have a plan, taking a leadership role.
"As I am the highest blood here I will be leader" Eridan coughed but was fine with not having that responsibility. "Sorry, second-highest, anyways, each of us will be responsible for one girl, I will assign them as I think I know who will be best for who." Everybody murmured in agreement, including Sollux. "Feferi with Eridan, Vriska with Tavros" Tavros groaned but decided to let it go. "Terezi with Karkat, Kanaya with Sollux, Aradia with Gamzee" everybody gasped at this bold step, leaving GAMZEE, in charge of a WRIGGLER? It was unheard of, but of course, Equis gave zero shits and kept going. "And finally, sweet little Nepeta with me" he said, pulling Nepeta closer to him as she looked up in wonderment. Suddenly all of the trolls soon felt little arms around their legs, and as Eridan looked down, he saw just about the cutest thing, a two alternian-solar sweep old Feferi looking up at him.
"Hi, my name's Feferi Peixes, whaz yours?"
