A/N: This is for the Pick a Number, Any Number challenge on HPFC. I got the song Wonderful Tonight and the word magnanimous. I find Remus to be a magnanimous person and then I made this with him trying to be selfless and let his wife have a good time.

Its late in the evening
She's wondering what clothes to wear
She puts on her make up
And brushes her long blonde hair
And then she asks me
Do I look alright
And I say yes, you look wonderful tonight

Remus was waiting for his wife to come downstairs. She normally was quick about picking something out, but she wanted to impress tonight. They were going to Harry and Ginny's house warming party. They had just gotten married and had just purchased a new house in Godric's Hollow.

As she walks down the stairs, she asks if she looks alright. As he looked at her, he was stunned. She had her hair in long, flowing curls that trailed down her back. She had changed the color from her normal pink to a stunning blonde. She asks again and he tells her she looks wonderful.

We go a party
And everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady
That's walking around with me
And then she asks me
Do you feel alright
And I say yes, I feel wonderful tonight

When they arrive, they are greeted with silence as they look on at Tonks. She stumbles as she walks forward and he grabs her waist to keep her from falling. He moves to take his hand away, but she stops him with a pleading look. He could never say no to her. Just as he could never say no to Teddy.

He wants to leave, but he won't because he loves seeing her face light up as she's complimented or as she shares stories of Teddy. It was a few more days to the full moon, but he was feeling the effects just the same. He knew he was starting to look sick, but he tried to hide it.

"Remus, are you alright?" she asks, her eyes alight with worry.

"I'm fine. It'll pass soon." He lies in hope she won't say anymore.

"I know it's the full moon bothering you. Please don't lie to me. I want to help you." She pleads.

"I'm not pushing you away, I love seeing you happy and you're happy here." He admits.

"I'll be fine, I'm worried about you." She says as she pulls him towards the front gates. She takes him around the waste and apparates him back home.

I feel wonderful
Because I see the love light in your eyes
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize

Its time to go home now
And I've got an aching head
So I give her the car keys
She helps me to bed
And then I tell her
As I turn out the light
I say my darling, you were wonderful tonight
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight

She helps him strip down and then helps him into his pajamas. She lies down next to him in their bed.

"I love you, Remus." She says before she kisses him and falls asleep. He can't fall asleep and watches her chest rise and fall as she dreams.

He whispers before he falls asleep, "You were wonderful tonight, my love. I just wish I hadn't ruined your night."
