Duty...the word by which I have lived my life
What is meant to bring order, to me brings only strife.
Since I was young, a mere little girl
I've been told of this duty, I would have to lead my world.
Sacrifice was not an option, or choice that I could make
It was an obligation, to me for my Land's sake.
To duty, I am but a puppet, but an important role in its show.
The man I married I do not love, the people I rule I do not know.
But still I walk through this life, as regally as I can
Knowing no one will notice, knowing none understands.
"So why," you may ask, "do you live your life un-free?"
And to that I would answer, "I'm chained to duty, and seem to've misplaced the key."
