Maven turned to see Crossbones' fist coming straight towards his face. The clone yelled in pain as his nose and jaw were broken. Crossbones approached him again. Pietro yelled" Maven!" as he was restrained. Crossbones smirked. Crossbones slammed his fists into Maven's chest, smashing his rib cage and lungs. Maven screamed out in pain.
Crossbones laughed. Maven groaned in pain. He hurt all over. Crossbones lunged at him again. Maven cried out as he was hit again and Coulson's team rushed in. Crossbones raised his arm to throw another punch. Before it could land, Crossbones' wrist was hit. He was face to face with a very angry yet very beautiful woman.
"Leave Maven alone!" She said. "The Avengers needed to lose someone to hurt them so why wouldn't I kill the traitor?" "You kill him and I will cut off your head and play soccer with it." "That's a disturbing thought!" Hunter shouted. "Shut up Hunter!" Jade shouted back. Crossbones just slammed his foot into Maven's leg breaking it.
Maven screamed out in pain. Crossbones smirked yet again. He kicked Maven's other leg. Maven cried out in pain again. Crossbones smirked again. He hit Maven yet again. Crossbones laughed. He slammed his fist into Maven's face. Maven let out a whimper as Wanda blasted the HYDRA agents away from her. Crossbones punched Maven in the back, shattering his spine.
Maven cried out in pain again. He fell to the ground. Crossbones stood over him. Maven gasped for air. Crossbones lifted his foot to slam down on Maven's chest. He was tackled before he could. Jade pressed her fan to his throat. "Back the f**k off!" Crossbones spat at her. Jade stabbed him with one of her fans.
Maven laid dying. Jade knelt next to the clone and gave a sad smile. "Goodnight, little brother." Jade said, using Maven's nickname. She shed a tear as she pulled her war fan out, stabbing Maven in the heart. She closed his eyes before dropping her fan next to his body and standing.
Her body shook in silent sobs. Bobbi stepped over, pulling Jade into her arms. Jade shook off the embrace and walked over to Crossbones, lifting him up. "You gonna kill me?" Crossbones asked mockingly.
"Me? No. But his sister is here, and she is p*ssed," Jade said, dropping Crossbones in front of Wanda. Wanda lifted Crossbones up with her telekinesis. She twisted his body in two directions. Crossbones gasped. Wanda waved her hand and Crossbones' organs began coming out of his mouth. Crossbones gasped and choked. He bled out.
She dropped Crossbones to the ground. Dead. Wanda stumbled over to Maven's body then, hugging it. Pietro, meanwhile, approached Jade, who looked haunted. "I'm sorry," Jade whispered brokenly. "Don't be," Pietro said softly. "I killed your brother," Jade whispered. "He was suffering, you did what you had to do." "I still killed your brother!" "Jade, I'm not mad at you. It's okay."
"You should be mad! I killed him!" "You didn't kill him, Crossbones did." "But..." "You. Didn't. Kill. Him." Jade nodded, though she still looked upset. Wanda was still hugging Maven's body. Pietro knelt down and hugged his sister. Wanda whimpered. She shook her head. "Maven..." She glanced back over at her brother's unmoving body.
Wanda's lip trembled slightly and she stroked Maven's hair gently. It was still just as soft as it had been when he had been alive. But he wasn't alive. Maven was dead.
Let's see. We've killed Jade, Tommy, and now Maven. There's no stopping us. ;) Mwahahaha! Okay I'll stop now.
