Summary: In BD, Jacob said that if there was a fight between the Cullens and the La Push pack, he would be fighting to protect Bella. Too bad that's the wrong side, as Sam and the rest of the pack have other ideas...

The Wrong Side
Deep down, I knew it would happen.
Sam had been talking about it for weeks now, ever since the battle with the newborns. Even though I had just come back, he was already thinking of ways to get to them.
They were vampires, our enemies... But Bella... I couldn't let them hurt Bella. I didn't want to imprint; I didn't need to imprint. Bella was everything that I needed.
Paul was all for Sam's idea, and most of the other guys were too. I, however, wasn't. I wouldn't let them hurt Bella.

It was a few days before the wedding was to take place, and I felt like running again. I couldn't handle this.
I knew that sam's plan was going to start soon. He had planned it out for before the they were going to be married, so that Bella wouldn't be as involved. Didn't he know that even if they weren't married, Bella would still get herself involved? This was the guy she claimed she was in love with...

They didn't suspect anything. That was the plan, anyway...
As Sam and the others went forward, I hung back. I had to worn Bella.
I found her and the leach. I recoiled in disgust, knowing that the leech could already read my mind. He knew what the rest of the pack was doing.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Paul attacked. It was fast; even for a werewolf. Paul got Edward Cullen pinned underneath him, then Collen and Brady joined him. I had no clue where Embry and Quil were, but I hoped that they had enough common sense to stay out of this.
I saw Bella trying to get the guys off of the leech. I lunged forward, getting on top of her and holding her down. She couldn't get in the way!
I heard the sound of tearing flesh, then a sound like falling rocks as pieces of Edward's body fell to the ground.
Sam appeared with a lighter, and they set Edward's remains on fire.
Then the other Cullens got involved... and everything went to hell.
