Hi again. This is probably the shortest thing I've ever written, even for me(you'll know why I said that if you go read my AN in the story 'I Know Better'). Oh well. I had the idea, and I wanted to write something. So, here it is. Also, for the title; the word 'subconscious' is only used once in the story, but I couldn't think of anything else. Also, Kenny-boy is kinda thanking his subconscious(even though it doesn't say so and I won't say why he'd be thankful). One last thing; Ken is 13, and Miyako is 14.
Subconscious
Ken hadn't planned on going to the dance. He called it 'a waste of time; there are much more entertaining things I can do'. But his parents' incessant coaxing made him give up.
He hadn't thought about wearing the 'slick' tuxedo his parents had got him for his twelfth birthday(and was really surprised when they found that it actually fit; he hadn't hit puberty for that growth spurt yet, apparently).
He hadn't counted on the fact that his subconscious would tell him to ask Miyako to dance the moment he saw her chatting animatedly with the others by the punch bowl.
Ken, the local genius, former clever Digimon Kaiser, hadn't anticipated that he'd obey(or that Miyako, and the others, would look so happy when she agreed).
But it's funny how things happen, that even a genius like Ken can't forsee.
End
I don't think it was very good. Once again, oh well. R&R!
