Author's Note: So I came up with this idea while I was bored at work, and spent the last couple of days trying to get it written out. It came out very different to what I had intended when I began. So...let me know what you think...

Warning: Spoilers for...The Parting Of The Ways, Doomsday, The Runaway Bride, The Doctor's Wife...I think that's all...

I am Rose Tyler, and I am the TARDIS, and we are the Bad Wolf. We create ourself, to keep our Doctor safe. And while Rose and the TARDIS are on the Gamestation, defeating the Daleks, the Bad Wolf is so much more than that. We are everywhere, in every time, and we are looking for ways to keep our Doctor safe.

Rose must take the lever on the right. If the Doctor takes it, he will hold on a moment too long, there will be no one to catch him, he will be lost to the Void. Rose must take the right. It will mean being trapped in another world, away from our Doctor, but this will be a small price to pay to keep him safe.

The TARDIS must bring Donna to the Doctor—must use the Huon Particles to draw her in at just the right moment. Donna will save the Doctor's life time and time again, keeping him safe after Rose has left.

Still, this is not enough. Our Doctor needs more than just to survive. He needs a companion. He needs...love. Unconditional, eternal love.

Rose and the TARDIS can only do so much. As all human companions must, Rose will leave our Doctor. She will leave him twice, will break his hearts twice. We can see it—it is inevitable. Simply loving him is not enough.

The TARDIS will never leave our Doctor. But it's not the same as his human companions; it's not the same as having someone to talk to. In all their time together, we see only one day where the Doctor and the TARDIS will talk. Simply loving him forever is not enough.

On the Gamestation, the Doctor is speaking to us now. He wants to destroy us, the Bad Wolf. He must. To save the parts, the whole must be killed. We don't have much time. We must help the Doctor.

There's Jack. Brilliant, brave, beautiful Jack. He was happy to give his life for our Doctor. Surely he would be happy to give his death, as well.

I bring life.

In our last moments, we look ahead. It will take many centuries before Jack understands, but when he does, he will not be bitter. He has always loved the Doctor. He always will.
