Sasuke looked up at the star-filled sky. It was a beautiful night, the stars were bright and it was a full moon. Naruto was lying beside him peacefully holding each other's hands.
"Ne, Naruto…" Sasuke asked trying to get his lovers attention.
"Yeah Sasuke?" Asked the blond turning his head to face his boyfriend.
"What did you think of me when you first met me?" Sasuke knew the question was cheesy and stupid, but he really wanted to know. The question was gnawing at the back of his brain for a while now.
"I thought you were a cold, ungrateful bastard, who hated everyone and everything." The blond said plainly. Sasuke felt a bit hurt by the words but kept his face expressionless.
"But…" Naruto started and smiled. "when I got to know you better I realized you were just lonely, trying to find someone who wouldn't betray you and who you can trust and love."
Sasuke looked at him questioningly.
"And how did you find that out?"
"Your eyes. Your face may be expressionless, but your eyes say everything." Naruto said and smiled softly.
"Dobe." Sasuke said looking back at the sky again, and smiling softly. "They're just eyes."
Naruto smiled and also looked back at the sky.
"Maybe. But I was right, wasn't I?"
