I am not proud of this one...I wrote it a while ago when I first watched the first season of DtB..I shipped Hei/Yin. And I loved the episode about her and the piano and this came up...I hope everyone likes it... Tell me what you think..

Two colors contrasting
Black and white
Lined up neatly
Like day and night.
Lost in the air
Keys of sound, so bright
Sounds of comfort
Seeking the light.
It was peaceful
A comfort only to her
Something of the past.
Reminder of how things were
Her heart twisting..?
Emotion she has never felt.
Staring listlessly..
In front of it, she knelt
Holding out her hand
Barely touching the keys
In strange wonder
Leaning forward on her knees
The insults never stopped
They called her a doll.
A spirit...useless..
But she will never fall
She placed her hands on the keys.
Forgetting what's wrong
Not caring the danger
She felt like she belong.
Past pains and guilt...?
Still no emotion
Confused at what she was feeling
Was this feeling...devotion?
Playing softly in the night
She had no fear
Finally somewhere to belong
After a whole year.
She did not notice...
One white mask in the night.
Watching, protecting her.
Always until the morning light
