The afternoon was just like the Morning; perfect.
Annabeth and I were sitting on the beach, holding hands, laying down. The beach helped with the mood. The mood: Romantic. That is, until someone came yelling
" ANNABETH, PERCY CHIRON WANTS TO SEE YOU RIGHT AWAY! "
At the mention of our mentor's name. we sat up, only to see one of the stolls. For all I knew it could've been a prank, but his face was filled with worry, his voice with urgency.
" What happened? " I asked
" I don't know, but Chiron said we need to hold a meeting, right now. "
" It's been aware for everyone, that Gaea and Kronos have died, correct? That we should celebrate about their defeat. Well the fates must like to play with us because, a new threat arrises. " Chiron let that hang before continuing, " What I say right now is impossible, but it's possible. The river Styx, is a Goddess. We all know that, correct? but what we do not know is where she's been for the past millenia. "
" She's been a river. " Mr. D said drunk with wine.
" Well... yes, but where was her spirit? "
" What do you mean, Chiron? " Annabeth asked.
" What I mean is, where was Styx Goddess of Hate, Abhorrent, and Gloomy. When we fought? She didn't disapear because her river is still there. "
"So..." Annabeth said letting all that info sink in her brain, "You mean to say, that Styx is our new enemy?"
" Precisely. "
This was a filler chapter, but it's SUPER important
