AN: Hey guys! So I feel sort of bad for neglecting my Skip Beat story, but I knew I had to write this down or I would regret it. W Juliet is seriously one of the best manga's I've ever read and the ending was wicked amazing, but I thought it would be fun to see how an alternate turn of events would play out. That being said, enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own W Juliet. *mumble grumble grunt*

"…Kouhei-kun*…what is this?"

"It's an industrial sized fan! Isn't it great? My dad let me borrow it for the play this weekend. We usually use it to keep the flowers cool, but don't you think it would be perfect for the balcony scene?" The adorable bishounen looked up at his sempais with twinkles in his eyes. He was really excited to show Makoto and the rest of the drama club his giant prop. The rest of the club, on the other hand, did not think the machine was necessary, but who could ever reject such a face?

"Kouhei-kun, this is…it's a very big fan," Makoto stated somewhat awkwardly as he touched the large metal machine. He had to admit it was an interesting idea, but he knew for a fact that no one would want to lug this thing on stage.

Kouhei pouted. "But…you would look so beautiful with the wind blowing in your hair…don't you think so, Miura-san?" Kouhei smiled largely at Ito, thinking that she, too, would understand how wonderful it would be to gaze at the wind-blown beauty that was Makoto Narita. Little did Kouhei know how much Ito also wanted to see it. But Ito knew better. A lot of things could go wrong with a giant fan.

"Um…but the script doesn't really call for any wind-blown scenes. In fact, isn't the balcony scene supposed to be in a serene setting? We can't just change up the setting like that…" Ito stopped talking when she saw Kouhei tear up.

"Oh, no, Kouhei-kun, don't cry!" Misaki and Nobuko instantly rushed to Kouhei's side.

"It's a good idea, really," Misaki assured him.

"Yeah," Nobuko agreed. "It's just that we already have a lot of props in storage that also need to be used."

"But Nobuko-chan! This can give the play a really nice effect!" Kouhei stated, convinced his prop was not a failure.

The troupe hesitated. On the one hand, nobody wanted to hurt the boy's feelings. On the other hand, they really didn't want to deal with his giant prop. Yoshiro sighed.

"Well…you know…it's not really our decision to make. How about we just leave the fan in in the classroom and see what sensei thinks about it?" he suggested.

"Good idea, Yoshiro!" Ito clapped him on the back and grinned at her best friend's quick thinking.

Kouhei thought about it for a minute, then hesitantly agreed. "I suppose…" he said, somewhat saddened that the upperclassmen didn't immediately jump on board with his idea. Then his face turned determined. "But I know that sensei will like it!" The young man nodded his head once and rushed out of the classroom to find her.

"Smart thinking," Makoto congratulated Yoshiro. "But I do feel sort of bad for sensei, though. We all know nobody really wants the fan on set."

"Yeah," Ito agreed, "but at least we don't have to be the ones rejecting him. That's your job, Makoto!" The troupe laughed. "But seriously. What was he thinking bringing this giant fan in? Who even helped him get it in here?"

"I don't know," Yoshiro said, "but I have a feeling this thing's going to be a lot of trouble."

*AN: Just to be clear, the Kouhei in this story is Kouhei Takada, the bishi who was in love with Makoto.
