My name is Maisy. I've been at this high school for two years. I'm not popular. There are loads of popular kids here. Autumn says hi sometimes but mostly ignores me. I'm ok with that because I have some other friends, Amelia and Sasha. Neither of them are popular, Amelia's a quiet wallflower and Sasha's a bit of a nerd but they're fun to be with. But all I've ever wanted was to be popular.
Ok, don't tell anyone, but I have a HUGE crush on Ryan! He's the super-hot king of the Homecoming court and he's such a flirt! I tried to flirt with him the other day but I only got embarrassed. He was also flirting with this dork called Chloe. Weird!
Big news-I managed to charm Ryan and he asked me out! Of course I said yes! I asked him where was he taking me, but he didn't say. Then he just flicked his wispy chestnut hair (HOT) and went to talk with Ezra, Julian and Matt. Later that day, Mia (Ryan's friend) said "Do you really like him?" I told her yes. "Well he doesn't like you. It was just a joke! Ryan does this to ALL dorks! Well, maybe not Chloe. He has asked her out aswell. Seeya," I was gutted, but I remembered that Mia is SUCH a liar. She wasn't telling the truth, I knew Ryan liked me. Or maybe I wanted him to so badly that I actually made myself believe it.
My phone is ringing. It's Ryan! 'Hey M, want to come kayaking with me on Sunday?' KAYAKING? Is that his idea of a date? Oh well, sounds interesting. 'Ok, c u there' I text back. Mia was lying! I am SOOOO EXCITED!
