Okay this just happened. What have I created.
Monkey D Luffy is dead. He died for his crew.
"Go enjoy living on. You guys now have the One Piece. You can all go out and complete you dreams. You all helped me with mine and I thank you for that. I hate goodbyes so... See you later". And with that the tunnel collapsed, leaving Luffy alone with millions of marines. That was the last time the crew would see thier captain
Monkey D. Luffy caused chaos in his last moments. He destroyed the warlords and the admirals, but not without injuries. After downing over 4,790,000 troops he fell. The whole world shook. This was the day that a king fell.
He would come back. He always came back. No matter how hard the beating. No matter how many people he would have to beat, he'd always bounce back. No. Not this time. He was dead, and there was nothing they could do about it.
The whole world desperately cried for Luffy, but that wouldn't solve anything. This wasn't a happy cliche story where the tears of the people bring the heroes back to live. He was dead. No matter how much anyone hated to admit it. Straw hat Luffy was dead.
Why was he dead. Didn't the good guys always win? But who were the good guys. No one could answer that question. None of the good things he did ever came back to help him. Karma wasn't real. If it was he'd still be alive. But he's not.
The crew stood there is shock. Tears poured out of their eyes. They didn't mind showing them. Everybody except Robin ran over to the wall to break it down. She remembered the night before. "I'm going to part ways with all of you tomorrow. There's nothing that can be done. Do not mourn me though. That be awkward... Just go complete your dreams. You don't need me for that." They crew never broke through to Luffy.
Zoro was the best swordsman now. He stood atop a hill in Raftel. Next to the grave of a king. Letting challengers come to him. Like the rest of the crew he got a share of the worlds biggest treasure.
Nami didn't care that she was rich. Luffy was dead. No amount of money could ever fix this. She remembered what Robin had told the crew. What he had said the night before he died. She went on and made a map of the world.
Usopp had no dream. He had already become a brave warrior of the sea. So he decided to live on with Luffy's dream. He would sail until he died. Under the flag of the great captain Usopp. Because his lies were just his dreams.
Sanji assisted Nami on her journey. It felt odd though. Never the same. He saved so much money without buying meat. He noticed a lack of meat in his life now. He felt like he was cooking so little.
Chopper worked hard everyday and night. Luffy didn't die for nothing. He died for them. He worked to become the worlds best doctor and could cure everything, even death. But they never found Luffy's corpse...
Robin took it the best. Or that's what she made it seem like. She assisted the rage fueled revolutionaries when they destroyed the world government. She really took it the hardest. She always had a deep respect for him. They had saved each other so many times. She lived writing books about the blank history.
Franky went to the fishmen islands. There he would make and repair boats for pirates passing through. He would also help protect the island. Just like Luffy did before he...
Brooks heart was broken. Not like he had a heart. He couldn't laugh. It took him years to make another joke. He went back to being a rock star. Now the the world government was gone there was no one to stop him.
It was white. Everything was white. Is this death? He looked over and there he saw it. Ace standing over a few feet away "Finally come to join me little brother? I was getting lonely"
