Seokjin knew he would never fly, he didn't have wings and the sky was so far away from him as he drowned in his own thoughts. He knew this, but sometimes his hand would reach for the sky like it'd hoist him up onto the clouds for a nap. It hurt to know he'd never fly, forever down here with his own thoughts, forever drowning. Seokjin knew he would never fly, but he yearned to fly. He wanted the gentle breeze to dance around him as he floated with the clouds, gentle sunlight warming him. He yearned for even a sliver of that, anything beat the burning cold of loneliness. Seokjin yearned for the peaceful freedom of the sky. So if he reached toward the sky, eyes pleading, waiting for the wind to pick him up and bring him peace..nobody had to know. Nobody mentioned it and nobody looked twice when gentle tears rolled down his cheeks. His pitiful existence continued, Seokjin forever drowning in his own thoughts, his own desires. Perhaps this is greed and greed is the only reason he suffers. He understood now, his own greed is what's holding him down. He smiled bitterly at that. Seokjin knew he'd never fly, but at least he knew why.
