(The following journal entries were salvaged from a First Order officer's private terminal in a base that was assaulted by an unknown party. His body was found with a single stab wound. Autopsy reports indicate said stab wound had burn marks and cauterized wounds indicative of a lightsaber induced wound. The other officers and stormtroopers were slaughtered with similar cutting wounds and blaster entry points.)

Day 1, 34 ABY.

My first day in command of this unit of fresh faced children and recruits has just ended. As expected they are in need of actual leadership and a boot up their (redacted).

Day 5., 34 ABY.

The younger officers have decided to indulge in ghost stories to pass their free time. Apparently there's stories of an old Jedi exacting revenge for his slain comrades and is taking it out on First Order personnel. Apparently death weilds blue and he can't fall. Hogwash if you ask me.

Day 15, 34 ABY.

Got a few new stormtroopers and officers today. Apparently the rest of their unit was wiped out by this spectre. This thing apparently carries a blue lightsaber and a blaster pistol, both of which are used to devastating effect. I will report this to command and see what they recommend. If there is a Jedi out there besides that scavenger scum then we are in some very hot water.

Day 20, 34 ABY.

Damn. This thing hit a base a few planets from us. We need command to assist us NOW!

Day 25, 34 ABY.

I am writing this as my last testament in this galaxy. This being, no..death itself, has arrived. I am currently hiding out in my office but I don't know how long I'll last. The Jedi is carving his way through our stormtroopers as if they were farmboys. We have no hope of survival and this is our last moments alive. It indeed Reyes true what they say. Death does indeed weild blue and he can't fall. Even now I can hear blaster fire, men screening as they're cut to pieces, and alarms signaling our destruction. I have no false hope I'll survive and I'm certain this reaper will make sure I won't. May the Force be with us all.
