Summary: Somehow the commissioner found out about Gregson's spat with Sherlock and now the captain has to face the consequences of his actions.

"Gregson, what is this?" The Commissioner asked, showing the captain a witness statement.
"It's a witness statement, sir." The captain replied.
The man behind the desk scowled. "I know that Gregson, but do you know what it says?"
Gregson shook his head.
"It says," the commissioner informed him, "that one Captain Gregson of the 42nd precinct assulted Mr. Sherlock Holmes inside a bar on 49th street. Now, please tell me, what were you thinking?"
Gregson sighed. "It involved the M case sir. Holmes put his need for revenge ahead of the case and the people working on it. I admit I shouldn't have let my temper get the better of me, but am I sorry? No sir, I can't say that I am."
The Commissioner sighed. "Sherlock Holmes is one of the best consultants that this city ever had. We're lucky that he didn't decide to sue the department after that stunt you pulled."
"Yes sir," Gregson replied.
"Good. Now that's settled I'm ordering to go into theapy." Before the captain could protest, the commissioner continued, "It's either that Tom or desk duty."
What choice do I have? Gregson thought. "I'll take the theapy, sir."
"Good," the commissioner said. "In the meantime, I'll deal with the department and Sherlock Holmes."
Gregson nodded, thinking that his boss would need a lot of patience in dealing with Holmes then thought to ask; "When I do start theapy?"
"On Monday," His boss replied. "Dismissed."
Gregson left the office thinking that as far as consequences go, maybe theapy wasn't such a bad thing.
