I Can't Live Without You
Percy Jackson was mad. No he wasn't mad he was furious.
He told her not to take on monsters without him. He knew she could handle herself but they had too much at risk for her to go and try to take down a hydra by herself in Central Park.
So now here he was riding blackjack to Camp Half-Blood in order to see his wife. Thank the gods that Nico decided to pop into the park for his daily churro and happened to find her unconscious and finished off the hydra before shadow traveling her to camp.
Percy wanted to bring the damn hydra back and kick its ass for messing with his family and trying to take away one of the best things in his life (besides his mother and her blue cookies).
When he finally landed he thanked blackjack with a sugar cube and sprinted for the big house. When he arrived he found Grover and Nico over his wife who was lying there with barely opened eyelids and a cool cloth on her head. He thanked his cousin and best friend before kneeling down next to his wife.
"Wise girl, why?" he said
"I'm sorry Seaweed Brain." she replied with a raspy voice barely like her own.
"I know why you did it love, but I wish you would've called me or someone else to help, it was a hydra for gods sake."
"I'm sorry I know we're trying for a baby and I shouldn't have done it alone." Annabeth said cupping his cheek and bringing her face to his.
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm ok just a bit sore, I'll live."
"Good because you know I cant live without you Wise Girl." He said while holding her face even closer than before.
"I can't live without you either Seaweed Brain." She said with a smile bringing her lips to his.
In that moment Percy knew he would always have his Wise Girl, and after another four weeks of trying they finally got the good news they wanted.
They were starting a family together.
