"Ciel," you let out, your (e/c) eyes trailing over to your 'friend' as you liked to call him. "Come play a game with me."
"I don't have time for your games, _." He objects, his cold blue eye attached to the sheets of paper in his hands, sometimes turning them over and reading the other side. You let out a small huff. You'd been cooped up in his office all day, your only company him, and then occasionally Sebastian when he came in to award you and Ciel with tea and desserts. As much as you loved tea and desserts, the only thing you could really do was read.
But since you had spent so much time at the Phantomhive manor, you were sure that you had read all the books in his office, even those boring almanacs that he had on his desk. Letting your fingers drum against the wooden arm of the chair, you glare at Ciel's head. You can't tell if he notices or not, because- just as before- he continues to ignore you.
"Then you could at least let me leave your office." You let out in a low grumble, the words barely leaving your lips."Then you'd break something. Again." Well, way to use that against you. Huffing, you cross your arms, your (e/c) leaving the thirteen-year-old earl to something more practical, like maybe that bookshelf.
Before your eyes could even focus on the bookshelf, a dark figure invaded your vision. Blinking rapidly, you hear a faint chuckle. "Are you okay, miss _?" The familiar voice asks. It takes you a second to register that it's Sebastian before you shake your head.
"I thought guests were supposed to be entertained. I've done nothing but sit in this chair for the last thirty minutes."
"I'm almost done, _" Ciel says abruptly, his cold blue eyes narrowed dangerously at your head. You didn't dare look away from the pale butler, whose lips contort into a small smile. "Now Young Master, it is terribly rude to allow your guests to become bored. You're being a terrible host."
Clutching the sides of his paperwork, Ciel tears his gaze off of you and tosses the parchments on his desk. "Fine. I'll play your stupid game, _"
That was all you could ask for, really.
