Chapter 1: Eaten by a Titan

It's been a while since I've written non-Hetalia fanfics. This one is just for trial, so I don't know if this can be continued or not. I need a change of pace.

It was all darkness around him.
All he could hear was screaming and yelling as he felt water drips were flowing down his cheeks. The scream was far away. Not only that, the teenager also felt liquids all over his surroundings. Lots of bodies were floating on the deep liquid. Between all that, he could see another teenager, seemingly slightly shorter than him.
He was not alone.
As the two teenager sunk deeper, they closed their eyes while they were desperate to call for help.

"Ugh..."
His ears were filled with bustling noises and voices. It was a totally different feeling. He tried to open his eyes, but darkness was still blocking his vision. He could only rely on his hearing. He heard a voice calling out to his name.
"...oi, Eren!"
"Huh...?"
"...ke up..."
"Kh..."
"Wake up, Eren!"
...
After a while, awakened by the voice, the teenager slowly opened his eyes. The first thing that he saw was a ceiling formed by steel bars. He felt a hand was holding his left shoulder. "Eren, can you hear me?"
"C-Corporal..."
"It's good to see you woke up."
Eren tried to sit down as the Corporal helped him to sit. "Corporal Levi, where are we?"
"Who knows? An unknown place, I imagine." Levi stood up as his 3D Maneuver Gear made a clattering sound. "I never seen a place like this."
The other teenager stood up too as he walked closer to the Corporal. He became confused when he saw that nothing in that area was familiar to him, except the humans.
Cars were everywhere, tall buildings filled the city, and the lights were blinding. Levi pointed towards a direction. "Look over there, Eren. Do you notice something?"
Eren looked at the direction Levi was pointing, and something was indeed out of place.
There were no walls.
"N-no walls? This town would be destroyed if the Titans came!"
"It's the first thing that caught my eyes when I woke up. The gas in our 3D Maneuver Gear seems sufficient. Let's climb up a building to make sure."
"R-right!"
Both of them exited the dark alley and turned on their 3D Maneuver Gear towards a building nearby them. It was at night, so people wouldn't be able to notice them. As they reached the rooftop, Eren looked around the area. It was true; no walls were found. The citizens didn't seem to be living in fear too.
"W-what is this place...?"
"Who knows... This might be the outside world."
"The world... beyond the walls?"
Levi stopped to think for a minute. "No. The development is way too sophisticated."
"Eh?"
"This is just a theory, but we might have landed on a different world."

A/N: Change of pace... Tiring! Luckily I've done my college exams for the week, so I have some free time to kill.
