When Sam woke up, Gabriel wasn't there. This was kind of weird, since Gabriel was always there when Sam woke up.
Sam threw the blankets off of himself, and rubbed the sleep-y-ness from his eyes, and stumbled his way to the bathroom to take care of his morning routine. When he got out of the shower, he could smell the sound of cooking coming from downstairs. Smelled like eggs, bacon, toast…The usual breakfast foods.
"Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey!" Gabriel said to Sam as he entered the kitchen, setting a plate of food on the table.
"You made this yourself?" Sam sat down in his chair, picking up a fork and taking a bite of the eggs.
"Yep, and the old fashioned way too. No angel mojo involved." Gabriel said, waving his spatula around.
"It's good," Sam stuffed another bite of eggs into his mouth. "Did you try any yet?"
"Nope, wanted to wait and see what you thought of it first. If you got sick, I would know it wasn't good. "Gabriel laughed, and sat down in a chair opposite Sam.
Sam picked up a bit of eggs and held it out for Gabriel to take a bite of. "Come on, try them. I'm not sick, I took more than one bite. That must mean I like them."
Gabriel gave Sam one of his 'looks', then leaned forward and took the eggs. "They ARE good. But not as good as something else."
"What?" Sam tilted his head at Gabriel
Before Sam could even think, he found himself with a lap full of archangel. Gabriel pulled Sam's face to his, giving him a deep passionate kiss. Sam melted into it, his hands finding their way to Gabriel's face.
"YOU Sammy. What else could I mean?" Gabriel said, his trademark 'Trickster Grin' showing on his face.
