Summary: Eight random words I thought of when bored in astronomy class, and wrote short vignettes to go with each word. Kakairu, hopefully showing a slice of their life together.
Pen- Kakashi was sprawled on the couch, lazily pretending to read his mission report. He watched Iruka grade papers, one tan hand gently gripping his pen. Kakashi smiled behind his mask.
Moonlight- Kakashi was beautiful in the moonlight; the silver light highlighted his skin and bathed him in a cool aura. But he was being a tease, slowly pulling off his shirt and arching his back. Iruka growled and jumped out of bed to pull his lover into bed.
Desk-Iruka was melting from the heat of Kakashi's mouth, it raged through his body, racing through his veins and pooling in his groin. He moaned. Suddenly, Kakashi grabbed him and dropped him on the desk, ignoring the pens and papers that went flying. Iruka lay back, pulling Kakashi on top of him, arching his aching groin into the other man's, and praying that no one came in to see how those reports were going…
Night- "See, there's the Pleiades." One long finger outlined seven points of light. Iruka snuggled into Kakashi's lanky body, alone together under the inky sky,
Map- Iruka shoved all the papers aside on his desk and quickly unrolled a map of fire country. He traced the winding red line that led to an innocuous dot representing a city. One finger unconsciously tapped that marker. Kakashi was there. On an S-ranked mission. Iruka rested his forehead on the crinkled paper and hoped.
Shoes- "Kakashi!" Iruka bellowed.
"Yes?" came the innocent reply.
"Explain this." Iruka hissed, a pair of mangled sandals dangling from his hand.
"Ah…" Kakashi scratched his head and avoided Iruka's gaze.
"I told you to keep your dogs away from my shoes!"
Coffee- "Want any coffee, 'Ruka?" Every morning Kakashi asked Iruka and every morning he got the same response.
"You know I don't like it, why do you ask?"
"You might change your mind one day."
Iruka laughed, "I don't think so, I hate coffee."
Then, before Iruka could react, Kakashi took a gulp of coffee and kissed him. As sweet coffee dribbled out of his mouth, Iruka realized he could get used to the taste of coffee.
Blood- Kakashi stared at the water as it swirled down the drain. It was a rusty red and left smudges on the porcelain basin. He hated Iruka seeing blood on him; he never let the other man see him right after a mission. Inspecting his hands, he ran his then under the stream of water, trying to scrub the dried blood from under his fingernails.
